After an hour in the water we returned to the shoreline and settled down while the people ate..bit of a cheek really as none of them brought anything for the dogs. Not even her - no food at all.
I did manage to get some food from Charlie and Henry the Goldies owners, which was nice. She tried to give me a piece of squid that had fallen in the sand yuk no way, no how, never.
She insisted on not only wearing a Michael Jackson T shirt but on playing his music on the ipod - don't know why something to do with 'in his memory'!
Saturday was as hot as yesterday, and Lytham Club day, thankfully she did not take me to the parade. I thought I had got away with going at all when at 3pm she frog marches me to the car, and drives me to Lytham - only to make me walk on the lead past hundreds of people. Watch some strange looking folk dancing with Morris and listen to a brass band. How uncool.
At least I got a treat when some pensioner gives me a chew stick - she was too polite (very unlike her) to take it off me.
Today was a first for me - my first Breed show. Yes I am a registered border collie what ever that means. It allowed me to go to Blackpool Ch show and go in the ring with a lot of other pups in minor puppy - sadly the judge did not see what I see and choose other dogs. I had to go into the puppy dog class too, there were only four of us and I got my first prize card - yep fourth out of four but whose counting.
Anyway I got to see some great dogs and made lots of friends. I did not like the growling ones, but had fun with two German shepherds ( don't know if I should mention that - what with the football and all).
Then I made friends with some Leonburger - I already know two Leos - Harley and Diesel these two were just as friendly if not as big.
I visited Crazy dogs stand and caught a glimpse of myself in their mirror - my my I am fine.
Strange things breed shows they give you a bench to sit on - don't know why, I tried it - didn't mind too much.
As I said I have had a busy weekend and am soooooooo tired now. Time for my biscuit and then bed.
